Cardinal Engineering recently completed extensive work for the 25 Mile Creek Wind Farm located in Ellis County, OK. The work consisted of the excavation, disposal, and compaction of all material necessary for the construction of the wind turbine string roadway. The Wind Turbine String Road was over 7,000 feet long and included thirteen Turbine Foundation Pits. The excavation areas included borrow areas, drainage channels and other areas where construction of the roadway would be impacted.
Cardinal’s experts provided all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete construction and acceptance of the Wind Turbine String Road and Foundation Excavation for the 25 Mile Creek Wind Farm. Upon completion, Cardinal’s team found all requirements relating to the project construction to be within the specifications set by the client. Furthermore, the entire project remained within the proposed contract amount.
